Pontiacs wore a new face for 1937, and had their best sales year yet with model-year output of 236,189. Pontiac’s famous art-deco-inspired “Silver Streak” trim first graced the front end of the 1935 models. For 1937, the theme was also available as an option for the deck lids of sedans and the new convertible sedan shown here. Silver Streak trim appeared on Pontiacs through the 1956 models.[1]
