America's Car Collection is a museum located in Winnemucca, Nevada. The museum is owned by former Winemucca resident Ralph Whitworth. The collection comprises a world-class array of automobiles from the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s. The cars were chosen to reflect America’s explosive golden age of experimentation and innovation with automotivespeed, power and styling. A future planned museum facility will be home to a rotating display of among the most historically significant American race, custom and show cars.

Already on the property is the 6,600-square foot climate-controlled, state-of-the-art, restoration facility, the “Flying A Garage.” The Flying A Garage houses the latest equipment and facilities, making it capable of hosting “concours” quality restoration workmanship.

The city of Winnemucca, NV is located 180 miles or 2.5 hours east of Reno, Nevada on 1-80 and is approximately 240 miles west of the Bonneville Salt Flats. The Flying A Garage is located on the East end of Winnemucca at 500 E. Winnemucca Blvd.

The America’s Car Collection site development will take place in three stages. Stage one, the Flying A Garage restoration facility was completed in 2006. Stage two includes construction of a storage facility to house the cars in the private collection which was started in the fall of 2008. Stage three will include the America’s Car Collection Museum facility.

September 26, 2009 the inventory of the America's Car Collection Museum will be sold by RM Auctions at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California.
