1966 Chevrolet El Camino restyled by Gordy Brown of House of Customs for San Fernando Valley Illusions member Bob Stepanion in 1966. Bob special ordered the El Camino. Shortly after the car was delivered, he brought it to Gordy for a custom job. The hood was peaked and the door handles removed along with all other emblems. The stock taillights were frenched into the body and the body line from the roof to the quarter panel was reworked for the paint layout to flow up onto the sides of the roof. The sides of the car were blue and silver lacework done with blue and silver powder mixed in the clear. Above and below the lacework was a mix of blue and silver Metalflake with more blue Metalflake along the lower edges of the body as a drop shade. The hood, top and tailgate were candy blue and the hood had darker candy blue shading.[1]
