Bobby Meeks worked for Edelbrock for 50 years. One of his jobs there was to find guys that could be successful racers. He recruited potential guys, and helped them with the latest equipment. Edelbrock devotees included Bob and Dick Pierson, Bill Likes, Franz Hernandez, Don Waite and Alex Xydias. According to Meeks, this was one of the reason why Edelbrock cars had so many records.[1]
