Competition Coupe raced by the Fuller, Nullines and Pines team. The dragster featured a 1928 Ford truck cab that was chopped 8 inches and channeled 6 inches. The team built a 98-inch chrome-moly tube frame that used a Ford axle and springs with Golden Glide shocks up front with 1940 Ford steering and spindles. The car was powered by a 265-cubic inch 1955 Buick Nailhead engine which featured 9 to 1 compression, Engle cam, polished heads, and an induction assembly that used a Crower manifold fitted with six Stromberg 97 carburetors. The Coupe ran 123 mph in an elapsed time of 11.14 seconds.[1]
