Harvey Cross' 1947 Ford

1947 Ford owned by San Francisco Kustom Kings member Harvey Cross of Daly City, California. In January of 1959 Harvey's Ford was shown in the "'35-'48 Closed Custom" class at the 4th annual San Mateo Custom, Rod & Sports Car Show. Called "Tomato Can", the car was painted Naples orange. It ran a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette engine. It was completely moulded and it featured 1957 Plymouth headlights that were mounted vertically. It was scalloped in black with gold toner and striped in white. The interior was done in black and orange. All four wheels were reversed and chromed.[1]
