Kustomrama Styling Studio

1941 Lincoln Zephyr convertible designed by Janne Kutja of Tuusula, Finland. Janne drew this 1940s inspired custom back in 2006. Main modifications include a chopped and leaned back windshield amd a padded top. Fanatics will also see the Janne has replaced the original one-piece windshield with a split one. The doors have been extended, and shaved for doorhandles. Gone are also the front blinkers, emblems and the trim on the bottom edge of the body. The sidetrim has been shortened on the hood, and extended in the back. The headlights have been frenched, and a custom made LaSalle style square mesh grille replaces the original grille. The front bumper is from a 1941 Mercury, while a 1950 Mercury rear bumper protects the rear part of the car. The rear fenders are molded in, the hinges are hidden and a pan has been fit between the body and rear bumper. It rolls on 7.10 Goodyear Super Cushion tires and 1949 Lincoln hubcaps. Fenderskirts hides the rear wheels, while a deep black paint job hides all of the lead-work. A beautiful Finish taildragger that easily could have been built late in 1949.[1]
