Ram Rods Rod & Custom Car Show was held by the Ram Rods Car Club of Silver Spring, Maryland. The first show was held at Wilson Pontiac in Silver Spring in 1957. The show progressed rapidly, and expanded to include Mann Oldsmobile in 1958 and 1960. As the show became better known, the number of cars and spectators grew, and for the 1960 show, approximately 8,000 spectators visited the show in order to see more than 50 cars that were on display.[1]

The 5th annual Ram Rods show was held April 6-8, 1962 at the National Guard Armory in Washington DC.

The 4th annual Ram Rods show was held May 12-14, 1961 at the National Guard Armory in Washington DC.
