Harry Keiichi Nishiyama's 1939 Ford convertible of Hilo, Hawaii. Harry's chopped and channeled Ford was built in 1949.

The Road Devils of Hawaii car club was formed late 1957 or early 1958 by Joe Correra and Robert "Papio" Kaluna. To recruit members to the newly formed club, Joe held meetings with 17 of Hilo's hot rod enthusiasts, signing their names to a list. In 1960 a killer tsunami hit the Big Island. The club took a backseat to Hilo's clean-up and rebuilding and the club simply faded away.[1]
