Scott and Holley's Mercury was dressed up with Firestone 670-15 3 1/4 Inch Whitewall tires. The wide whitewall and original Firestone Zig Zag Tread make this tire a popular tire for 1940s and early 1950s styled customs. 1954 Mercury owned by Scott and Holley Roberts of Moorpark, California. Scott's Mercury was nosed decked and shaved for door handles. The top was chopped 3 inches before Brandon Penserini of Altissimo Custom Paint & Restoration painted it Spies Hecker “Chile Verde” Green. It features a color matched interior by Chris Plante of Plante Interior, as well as a color matched 292 Ford Y-block V8 engine. The build was completed in January of 2016, just in time for the 2016 Grand National Roadster Show.
