Hot rod and custom car show held by the Sultans of Long Beach car club. The show was held on the athletic field at Millikan High School in Long Beach, California. The Sultans have always emphasized the so called "Bellflower Look", and many of the members, past and present, were active in the custom scene in the area during the late 1950s on into the 1960s. Howard Gribble attended the show, and in 2016 he told Kustomrama that having the show on a high school football field added an extra bit of appeal as it recalled those similar shows that were featured in the old magazines on several occasions. "To my knowledge it only happened once and within a year or two the Sultans began to hold their annual show on Bellflower Blvd and continued to do so for many years. I think that overall the pictures show that it was an unique event."[1]
