Charles McDonald's 1955 Ford Thunderbird was restyled by Don Roberts of Bear's Custom Body Shop in Inglewood in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
Gil Ayala's 1955 Ford Thunderbird of East Los Angeles, California. Known as the Wild Bird, the car was restyled by Gil and Al Ayala at Gil's Auto Body Works. The first version was completed in 1956.
Russ Meacham's 1955 Ford Thunderbird, of Vernon, Connecticut, as it appeared in 1960
Chris Casny's 1957 Ford Thunderbird of Hollywood, California was stolen in October 2010.
Mitch Nagao's 1957 Ford Thunderbird - The Xtura
Dick Jackson's 1958 Ford Thunderbird was restyled in 1958. The car was later sold to Calvin Wiekamp.
Bob Croatti's 1959 Ford Thunderbird of Milford, Connecticut. Bob's Thunderbird was restyled by Bernardo Auto Body. The build was completed in 1961, and it made its debut at the 1961 Hartford Autorama.
Mark Mundorff's 1959 Ford Thunderbird of Lincoln, Nebraska. Mark bought the car, named "Avancier", in 1967, by then it had already been mildly customized and prepared for racing.
Gordy Brown's 1963 Ford Thunderbird of San Fernando, California. Gordy was originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, but decided to move to Southern California in the early 1960s, after Utah passed a law against altered suspension. The Thunderbird was built at his shop House of Customs around 1963/1964, and it featured hydraulic lifts on all four corners so he could raise it up with a switch.
