Tony Frenn's 1947 Ford

1947 Ford Convertible owned by Tony Frenn of North Hollywood, California. The car was restyled using 1951 Kaiser grille bars cut to fit the grille opening. All seams were filled, and top of grille oval filled. Headlights were frenched and Studebaker taillights were installed and frenched in the rear fenders. The bumpers were also frenched by welding the bolts to the back of the bumpers. They were also lowered and molded in. The rear bumper featured a 1949 Chevrolet license plate guard and rectangular exhaust outlets. Doors and deck lid were were electronically operated. In order to get the right stance, the car was channeled 6 inches. Dual spotlights and Dodge Lancer hubcaps mounted on wide white wall tires wrapped up the style.[1]
