The car eventually wound up in a junkyard in Christiansburg. In the 1970s or the 1980s it was sold to Ohio.
John Knox's 1953 Buick Skylark custom of Portsmouth, Virginia. Restyled in the late 1950s or the early 1960s, the car was featured on the cover of Speed and Custom April 1962.
Robert Ansetta's 1951 Ford Crestliner of Morris Plains, New Jersey. Robert owned the car from the mid 1950s to the early 1960s, and most of the custom work on it was done during those years. Robert passed away in 1961 before the build was completed, and it was his brother Vinnia that finally completed the build in 1983. Mike Witkowski of Virginia bought the car from later owner Richard King.
