1928 Ford Pickup owned by Walt "Curly" Pasternak of Dearborn, Michigan. Known as the Comanche, rhe exterior of Walt's pickup was fit with genuine rolled and pleated with genuine cow-hide. Ray Kulakowski, who worked under Curly at Andy's Auto trim, upholstered the interior and exterior of the car. Rumor has it that the Comanche was upholstered on the outside because the body was so badly bent up.[1] The car received about as many trophies as there were rolls and pleats.[2] In 1960 Walt's pickup was shown at the first annual National Champion Custom Car Show in Detroit. The car came second in the Special Rod Show class.

The Comanche was burned in the early 1960s and totaled by the insurance company.[1]
