Joe Wilhelm's 1939 Nash Coupe of San Jose, California. Joe bought the car and restyled it after the War in 1946, and it was his first custom project.

Wild Dream was a show rod designed and built by Joe for John Hernandez.

Wilhelm's Custom Shop was a custom shop in San Jose, California that was run and operated by Joe Wilhelm.


Triple Win at the 1957 National Roadster Show

In 1957, three cars built by Wilhelm won awards at the National Roadster Show. Eric Bracher's 1956 Chevrolet won top honors for offering the most to the automotive design field. The other winners were Jim Gregg's 1953 Chevrolet and John Major's 1954 Ford.
