Mike Alexander of the Alexander Brothers in Detroit took a body and paint class at the Wolverine Trade School.

I am not logged in. My name is Steven Maguire. smaguire95747@yahoo.com. I attended Wolverine School of Trade at the age of approx 15 approx 1976. Wolverine School of Trade was located on Fort St in Detroit Michigan. If memory service me it was between 8th St & Trumbull or Trumbull & 10th St. The owner and instructors knew the trades and worked to teach. Many of the students were in programs separating from state custody. Some wanted to learn, others were destined to return to state custoday and were a distraction. The instructors and faculty did well to maintain high standards of education and disipline. I took auto mechanics. Joe was my insturctor. He was old and told tall tales, but he knew how to diagnose and trouble shoot cars. I learned a lot at Wolverine. I later took 4 State of Michigan tests and passed all 4 on my first try.
