Rory Forbes' 1927 Ford Model T Roadster was orginally a track roadster from the late 1940s, modified in 1958 by Al Morris, painted by Joe Bailon and striped by Tommy the Greek. It was put in storage in 1959 and brought out in 2019.
Tommy O'Connor's 1929 Ford Model A Roadster of Concord, California. In June of 2019 Kyle Martin at Martin Kolor & Style dressed the car up with pinstriped flames.
Mikael Blomberg's 1932 Ford Roadster of Motala, Sweden. Blomberg bought the roadster from Indian Mike of La Cañada Flintridge, California, early in 2019. Advertised for sale as an authentic drag car from the late 1950s or the early 1960s, Mike believed the roadster probably ran in the A/Roadster class back in the days. Blomberg got the car back on the road and drove it to the Santa Barbara DRAGS before he shipped it home to Sweden.
Rick Dore's Illusion. The Illusion is a coachbuilt custom by Rick Dore Kustoms. It features a hand-formed body by Luc De Ley of Marcel's Custom Metal. The car made its debut at the 2019 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California in January of 2019.
The Menges Twins' 1937 Ford Coupe of Atascadero, California. Featuring white primer, the build was completed early in 2019.
Steve Pierce's 1940 Buick Coupe of Napa, California. Named "Pamela," the car made it's first public appearance at the 2019 Grand National Roadster Show in January of 2019.
Johnny Aguirre's 1940 Dodge Business Coupe of Riverside, California. Johnny is a member of the Emperors of California car club, and his Dodge build was completed early in 2019.
Bert Gustafsson's 1941 Cadillac Roadster of Åmål, Sweden. The build was completed in 2019, making its first public appearance at the 2019 CKOS Lead Parking custom car show in Skultuna, Sweden.
Justin Lawley's 1947 Ford Coupe of Napa, California. Lawley is a member of the Squires of Napa car club. The build was completed in 2019.
Jeremy Jack's 1950 Ford of Napa, California. Jack is a member of the Squires of Napa car club. The build was complted early in 2019, and it made its debut at the 2019 Customs by the Sea in Santa Barbara, California.
In February of 2019 Cody Burghdorf completed the restoration of Emory Ashpaugh's 1955 Chevrolet, an old Oklahoma City custom known as "The Krimson Kart." The restored version made its debut at the 2019 Detroit Autorama.
Mikko Kiviniemi's 1953 Chevrolet of Örebro, Sweden. The body on Mikko's Chevrolet has been sectioned 3 inches and chopped 3 inches, reducing the height with a total of 6 inches. The build was started in 2013 and completed in May of 2019.
Colin Hillier-Daines' Agent Thor of Weston-Super-Mare, UK. Built as a tribute to Ed Roth's Road Agent, the name Thor is an anagram of Roth. The build was started on the 18th of March 2018 and completed on the 18th of June 2019.
Atsushi Nishimura's 1955 Pontiac of Sapporo, Japan. Atsushi is a member of the Glitter C.C. This photo shows the Pontiac as it appeared in 2019, after 296Japan had given it a Mid-Century Modern inspired boomerang paint job. Photo courtesy of Atsushi Nishimura.
Lars Ludvig Konrad Enström's 1956 Ford of Sweden. The build was completed in 2019.
Danny Vandergriff's 1957 Chrysler New Yorker of Fort Worth, Texas. Restyled by Danny and his father, the build was started in 2016 and completed in 2019.
Mike Maurice's 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air of Biddeford, Maine. Known as "Spill the Wine," Mike wanted to create an alternative to the cliche lowrider of today when he set out to restyle the Bel Air in 2017. "My goal was to bring back forgotten trends in books like Popular Customs." Featuring a panel paint job by Richie Borrelli, the build was completed in 2019.
The 1st Customs by the Sea in Santa Barbara, California was held March 9, 2019.
The second annual Gold Coast Reliability Run was held September 14, 2019 in Queensland, Australia.
