Bob Hagerty of Wheaton, Maryland. Bob grew up in Wheaton. He went to Wheaton High School, and was a member of the Coach Masters of Wheaton car club. While in high school, Bob began building a 1931 Ford Model A tudor named Jade East. In 2016 Bob told Kustomrama that he worked as a helper for a body shop called Calfax Motors of Maryland when he built the tudor; "I went on to become a painter and a body man, before I bought the shop in 1973."[1]
