1948 Buick Roadmaster sport custom owned by Brad and Gale Bez. Brad and Gale's roadster is actually a cut down Sedanette, and it features extensive lead work behind the seating compartment, across the fender top ridges and in the trunk surround. Brad and Gale bought the one-off custom in 2014, and they are currently looking for more info about it. It was located in Milwaukee and then moved to the Chicago area where it was in a garage fire. In 2009 it was purchased by a St Louis Buick collector. Brad and Gale were totally knocked out when they first spotted the old custom at the property of the Buick collector, and they literally flipped a circle in the middle of a busy road in order to go back and take a look at it. They bought the car, as they were looking for a cool 1940s car to pair with their vintage late 1940s - early 1950s travel trailer. Brad and Gale are in the business of classic car restoration, running the company Bez Auto Alchemy, and they plan to do a frame-off restoration with some minor adjustments. Future plans include more body line smoothing, different bumper treatments, some grill work, mild frenching here and there, a custom interior and dash treatment along with a convertible top and a removable hard top. The Fireball 8 engine will be rebuilt with custom engineered intake and exhaust, mild porting on the head, modern pistons and rings, addition of a pvc valve and an electronic ignition.[1]
