Doyle's Coupe as it appeared when it was featured in Rod & Custom December 1963.

1932 Ford owned by Doyle Gammell of Sierra Madre, California. Doyle worked for Ed "Big Daddy" Roth and his father was an engine expert for Moon. When Doyle's coupe was featured in Rod & Custom December 1963 it ran a black button and tufted Naugahyde interior by Roy Southerland. The rear wheels were Inglewood 8.20-15 mounted on American Racin Torq-Thrust wheels. Up front it ran Firestone ribbed racing tires. Martin's Body Shop painted the car Cordova brown while Ed Roth dressed it up with pinstriping.[1]
