George Barris and Sam Barris first car was a 1925 Buick. They got the car from their family in order to do work at the family's restaurant.

The Buick became the first Barris Brothers Kustom car. George and Sam straightened the body, and added bolt-on accessories to it, before George painted it orange with blue stripes.

The Buick was sold to purchase a 1929 Ford Model A.
