1953 Ford four-door restyled by Pete's Body Shop for Joe Siegfried of Akron, Ohio. Joe always dreamed about owning his own custom, his dream was not realized until he moved to Venice, California. He purchased a fairly used 1953 Ford 4-door and brought it over to Pete's Body Shop to have it customized. The car was nosed, decked and shaved for door handles and unnecessary trim components. The stock parking lights were swapped with 1952 Ford units, a 1953 Oldsmobile grille bar was fit between these. The headlights were frenched by using the stock rims, the light units were reversed in the openings. A pair of 1951 Oldsmobile 98 taillights were fit to the stock taillight mounts. In order to get the right stance, 6 inch lowering blocks were installed in the rear and 5 inch in the front. Cadillac Sombreros were added as well.[1]
