Krome'n Kandy is a traditional and traditionally inspired hot rod and kustom show held by Jeff Allison and Stacie Depner. The first show will be held July 19-20, 2013 at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch, Minnesota. Krome'n Kandy is a show for rods and kustoms of good taste is the simplest way to put it. The show is dedicated to all pre-1970 kustom cars, hot rods, street rods, race cars, show cars, and even bikes and semi-factory stock cars. Like a Goodguys event without muscle cars, combined with a traditional event without rat rods... A higher standard of cool is what krome'n kandy wants to represent, history combined with innovation and style. Flake paint or suede, flipper caps or big billet wheels, tuck 'n roll or leather... its all good when its done in good taste with an eye towards tradition...patina plastic, barbed wire bumpers, bad taste in general is not krome'n kandy and WILL BE REJECTED.
