1949 Oldsmobile Convertible restyled by Barris Kustoms for Dr. Robert La Briola. The face of the front fenders were squared off, and the headlights were extended and Frenched. The hood was shaved, and an oval grille framed by tubing with a floating center section was constructed. Directional lights were built into the tips of the grille area. In the rear, the car was modified using 1951 Frazer taillights which were extended into the tip. The deck lid was shaved and sectioned, and a new outlet was found for the exhaust tips by placing them in the bumper. The door handles were also shaved off the car.[2]
