Art Ingles

Art Ingles was the head metalman at Frank Kurtis' race car works in Glendale, California. Art formed those beautiful Kurtis midget and Indy car noses, tails and other parts for Frank. Art also worked on his own projects, that included a pair of identical sports-rod roadsters with Kraft. He did also invent the go-kart. One of Art's signature pieces was the "Ingles Nose", a slightly wider, flatter one for roadsters. The Ingles Nose could be found on Barney Navarro's 1927 Ford Model T Roadster, Wes Cooper's 1927 Ford Model T Roadster, Dick Kraft's Blue Model T and the Spalding Bros Track T. [1]
