Bobby Massaron of Detroit, Michigan. Bobby has been into hot rods and customs since he was 14 years old. "My first car was a 1948 Ford 2 Door Sedan, I bought it when I was 14," he told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in 2022. "I could not get a driver's license until I was 16. So I spent 2 years working on the 48. Took all the chrome off the hood, trunk, fenders, moldings all the holes in." He dressed it up with "ribbed" Plymouth bumpers before he took it to Pete's Kustom Shop. "Pete painted my 48 an Oldsmobile color "Baltic Blue." It was a dark blue." When Bobby came to pick the car up at Pete's he met Paul Hatton. "He worked at Pete's painting and pinstiping," Bobby recalled. He sold the '48 to buy his 1956 Chevrolet in 1958. "I was 16 years old in 1958."[1]
