Charles McDonald's 1955 Ford Thunderbird was restyled by Don Roberts of Bear's Custom Body Shop in Inglewood in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

Charles "Chuck" Joseph McDonals was a WWII veteran that escaped from a POW camp on the very last day of the war. In the late 1950s or early 1960s Chuck had Don Roberts of Bear's Custom Body Shop restyle his 1955 Ford Thunderbird. Chuck held on to the car until 2005.
