The third annual Rosevelt Hot Rod Show was held November 30 at Roosevelt High in Seattle, Washington. Held by the current Boys' Club at the school, Bill Cook and Terry Jarvis were co-chairmen of the committee. When the show was first announced, Cook and Jarvis informed that two shows were planned, one in November and another one in the spring. Trophies were given out to the owners of the cars placing first, second and third in the competition. The cars were judged by the Seattle Police Department, and the trophies were donated by local car agencies and the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Northern Division. Other judges included Dick Clemens of Day & Night Auto Supply, Dean Smith of Smitty's Upholstery, and Jim Berg. Chairmen from other Seattle high school hot rod show committees attended the show as observers. A public address system was set up to give information about the cars on display.
