1949 Pontiac restyled by Robbie Martinez of Broadway Auto Body Shop for Frank Castro. Robbie frenched the headlights and fit the car with a newer 1955 Chevrolet grille. The front portion of the hood was shaved, retaining the twin peaks which diminished off into the hood at the front. The deck lid was shaved and the taillight rims were frenched into the rear fenders. 1951 Pontiac lenses were inserted into the frenched taillight rims. Side peaks were built into the front and rear fenders. The rear fenders were also fit with scoops employing a custom made expanded metal pattern. Dual spotlights were added and the car was lowered 5 inches. 1955 Buick side trim was used to separate the two-tone Sierra Gold and beige paint job.[1]
