Their last name was misspelled on the show sign, as it read "Hydraulic Lifts by Aguire" with one R. Photo courtesy of Peterson Digital Archive.

1953 Chevrolet Bel-Air owned by Garret Greydanus of Chino, California. Garret's Chevrolet was customized by Ed Schelhaas at Schelhaas Custom Shop. It was painted by Junior Conway at Junior's House of Color, and it was upholstered by Eddie Martinez.[1]

Hydraulic Lifts by Aguirre

Garret's Chevrolet featured hydraulic lifts by Ron and Lou Aguirre. Photos taken February 19, 1961, at the 1961 NHRA Winternationals in Pomona shows it running the lifts, making it one of the first hydraulic lifted cars after Jim Logue's 1954 Ford and Ron Aguirre's X-Sonic.

Sold to Jim Noteboom

When the car was shown at the 1961 NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, it had a "For Sale" sign next to it. Sometime after the show, the car was sold to Jim Noteboom.
