1955 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe restyled by Branson's Custom Shop of Artesia for John Chavez of Norwalk, California. John's car was nosed and decked, and the door handles were removed. The headlights were frenced into the extended front fenders. The rear fenders were also extended and finned, and 1956 Packard taillights were installed. The stock grille was replaced by a 1954 Chevrolet grille bar with extra vertical teeth added. The trunk and doors on the car were push-button operated. The hubcaps were 1956 Oldsmobile Flippers. The car was done in lavender and white paint.[1] Joe Navarro worked at Branson's Custom Shop as a painter at the time, and it was Joe who painted John's Oldsmobile.[2]
