This is another early Hot rod from the northern parts of Sweden.
Featured in an article by Sture Torngren in Colorod magazine 1972.

Kenneth Josefsson (1949 - 2016), from Boden near Luleå found this 1939 Chevy coupe as a wreck in the early 1960s.
He decided from the beginning to built a Hot rod of it. The original drivetrain with 6-cylinder flattie was lifted out and the chassie was provided with a 283 ci Chevy engine connected via an adapter to a Ford 3-speed gearbox and a rear axle from -58 Ford Country sedan.

The front end was left unmodified but with Rocket magwheels. American Racing wheels in rear.

The interior holds bucket seats, Grant steering wheel, Moon gas pedal and additional gauges.

The engine was bored .030" and modified with a TRW camshaft and a Mallory coil making the car really fast on desert northern roads.
It was painted in a dark red/brown color.
It was registered and approved in Eskilstuna with 130 hp.

The car was sold to Michael Widén in Sundsvall in 1999. Mikael got it registered and approved and kept it until 2020 when Bo Rönnbäck bought it.

Bosse has done a complete body and paint restoration of the car as seen by the picture.
It now holds a 383 ci chevy engine.
