Frank Kurtis built and designed a lot of race cars during his lifetime. In 1951, he designed and built the Kurtis-Kraft 3000 Series. It had a independent suspension. The body was low and streamlined. Like many other Kurtis race cars, the engine was an Offenhauser L-4. It was featured in the very first Hop Up magazine from 1951.[1]
