Omer Koenig's 1948 Olsmobile
1948 Oldsmobile 88 Convertible owned by Omer Koenig. The front end was restyled by frenching a set of shaded headlight rims, and the grille was rendered by removing the horizontal Olds bar and adding two short floating bars and fog lights instead. The hood was shaved, but the deck lid and door handles remained. A set of Cadillac taillights and fins were grafted to the rear fenders. The exhaust was routed through the body below the taillights. Side trim from a 1951 Buick was added as well, making it almost impossible to recognize from the side together with the Cadillac fins.[1]
