Rudy Makela's 1936 Pontiac

A story about Makela's Pontiac from The Indianapolis Star Sunday July 19, 1936.

1936 Pontiac owned and restyled by Rudy Makela of Indianapolis, Indiana. Rudy's father ran and operated Indianapolis Power Hammer Works Inc, a custom body shop in Indianapolis, and the work was done by Rudy at the shop. The headlights were lowered, and the grille was replaced with a solid piece of metal on either side of the center. Three strips of chrome were installed to dress up the grille and hood sides. The build was completed in 1936.[1]
