Daemon's Olds as it sat in May of 2022. Back then, the car had been in Sweden for about 15 years. The car supposedly came from Northern California or the Midwest of the US and was sold on eBay. Willie Svensson bought the car when he was living in Vallejo. "He imported it when he moved back to Sweden, and I bought it from him." Photo courtesy of Daemon Löfman.
Daemon bought the car around 2008. He sold it to pay some bills but managed to get it back, and he was the owner of the custom in May of 2022. When Daemon got the car, modifications included a reworked front and back and a chopped top. It had traces of blue metallic paint, and Daemon hadn't been able to figure out if it was a 1950s or later build. Photo courtesy of Daemon Löfman.

Lost and Found

1957 Oldsmobile 88 owned by Daemon Löfman of Älvkarleby, Sweden. In May of 2022, Daemon told Kustomrama that the car was imported to Sweden around 15 years ago. The car supposedly came from Northern California or the Midwest of the US and was sold on eBay. Willie Svensson bought the car when he was living in Vallejo, California. "He imported it when he moved back to Sweden, and I bought it from him." Daemon bought the car around 2008. He sold it to pay some bills but managed to get it back, and he was the owner again of the custom as of February 2021. When Daemon got the car, modifications included a reworked front and back and a chopped top. It had traces of blue metallic paint, and Daemon hadn't been able to figure out if it was a 1950s or later build.[1]

Update

After seeing our posts on Kustomrama, [2] of Vallejo, California recognized the old custom. He could tell us that it was an old Vallejo car built between 1969 - 1972. Back then, the car was Pearl White with Blue flames and white upholstery. After doing some research, Alberta found out that the original owner was Earl Steen who worked at the local Oldsmobile dealer. It was later sold to Desrie Askeu.[3]
