Located in Island Lake, Illinois, the car was advertised for sale by Custom Classics on eBay in March of 2022. It was listed as an auction without a Buy It Now price. 26.11.2021 - Cecil Profitt's 1949 Ford Custom. Chopped top. Shaved, nosed and decked. Custom upholstery. 1949 Pymouth bumpers. Chrysler grille bars. Sunken antennas. Rounded hod corners. 1974 Buick 350 V-8 engine and transmission. Disc brakes, power steering and much more. Located in Mashpee, Massachusetts, the car was advertised for sale on eBay in Novermber of 2021. Listed as an auction, it had a US $32,000 starting bid. 03.19.2021 - SOLD: Guinotte Wise's 1949 Ford - The Red Lead Sled. Chopped. Bubble skirts. 1988 Mercury engine with about 8,000 miles. T5 Mustang trans floor shift. Fat man front end. Mustang rear end. Southern Air HVAC, power steering, working gauges, shaved, etc. Maintains a nice highway speed. Located 50 miles south of Kansas City, Guinotte was asking US $28,500 for his Red Lead Sled.
