1949 Ford owned by Swanx of Oakland member Gary Elmore of Castro Valley, California. Gary's Ford was mildly customized, featuring frenched headlights and a custom made grille opening that sported a simple two-bar grille. It was nosed, decked and shaved for door handles. After modifying the grille opening, it seems like Gary fit it with a 1951 Ford hood. It was fit with custom side trim, 1953 Cadillac hubcaps, and dual spotlights. The car was painted Candy Apple Red. In 1955 the car was shown at the National Roadster Show, this version featured bumper guards up front and rounded hood corners.
