Gary Elmore's 1949 Ford of Castro Valley, California. Gary was a member of the Swanx of Vallejo car club, and his Ford was shown at the 1955 National Roadster Show.

Gary Elmore's 1953 Studebaker of Castro Valley, California. Gary, who was a member of the Swanx of Oakland car club, restyled the Studebaker himself, with the help of a couple of good friends. The build, known as Exotica, was completed around 1959-1960.

Mike Sparrow's 1956 Chevrolet Corvette

Leroy Kemmerer's 1956 Mercury of Castro Valley, California. Leroy's Merc, also known as The Jade Idol, was restyled by Gene Winfield of Winfield's Custom Shop. The build was started in 1958, and completed in 1959. The Jade Idol became an instant hit at car shows all over the US, and it was the car that helped Gene gain national recognition as a custom car builder.

Ron Rodden's 1957 Chevrolet Corvette

Milt Mallory's Atlas Swallow of Castro Valley, California. The Atlas Swallow is a fiberglass sports car that emerged from a collaboration between renowned automotive innovators Bill Burke and Mickey Thompson in the early 1950s. Milt discovered the car in a wrecking yard in Hayward around 1963-1964. He had the car most of his senior year at Hayward High, and he hot-rodded it by installing a 1956 DeSoto Hemi that he sourced from a friend's mother.

Fred Crellar's 1940 Chevrolet convertible of Concord, California. The build was started in 1948, and completed around 1951-1952. Ron bought the car in 1974 and restyled it further.

Joe Roth's 1959 Chevrolet Impala of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Restyled by Cudahy Auto Body, the build was started in 1960 and completed in 1961. Marcus Edell of Castro Valley bought the old custom in 2015.
