Klas Forsberg of Sävar, Sweden. Klas' first customized car was an European 1966 Ford Taunus. After the Taunus followed many more cars, before Klas in 1988 moved to the United States. It was his first US trip, and after a couple of weeks of vacation in Huntington Beach he was lucky enough to get a job in a hot rod shop. He returned to Sweden in 1989 to pack his belonging, including his hot rod. From 1989 to 1994 Klas worked for Art Chrisman. In 1994 he opened up his own shop Forsberg Motorcars in Huntington Beach. In 1997 Klas and his wife decided to move back to Sweden. After 6 years in Umeå, Klas' wife, who comes from Huntington Beach, had had enough of the cold weather, so they moved back to the United States again. In 2013 Klas and his wife were living in San Francisco, and Klas was only working on cars as a hobby.[1]
