04.02.2020 - 1962 Ford Econoline Gasser - Blacktop Bandit. Located it Dayton, Ohio, this Econoline gasser was advertised for sale on Craigslist in March of 2020. It featured a custom paint job, a new Summit Ford 302 engine, a new Ford Monster transmission, and a new Ford 9 inch rear end. The asking price was US $28,000. 04.02.2020 - Jim Cooper's 1931 Ford Model A Roadster. Survivor show rod known as The Cockroach. Built by Jim Cooper of southern Illinois between 1959 and 1965. 4 inch chopped windshield. Body channeled 8 inches over a chromed 1932 Ford frame. Chrome galore. Firewall and whole underbody chromed. Original paint, very good for its age. Interior still in great shape. Carpet redone. 425 Nailhead and a GM400 transmission. Mechanically perfect. Located in Lodi, California, the car was advertised for sale on Craigslist in March of 2020. Buddy Hinman's 1931 Ford Model A Roadster of Rome, New York. The build was started in 1947 and completed in 1949, when buddy was 13 years old. Eli English of Pittsfield, New Hampshire purchased the car late in 2015. He found it advertised for sale on Craigslist.
Bill Smith's 1934 Ford Roadster Custom of Alameda, California. Bill was a member of the Shamrocks of Alameda car club, and he set out to build the roadster in 1955. Built from a retired Tudor Sedan, Bill modified the body by cutting off the roof and moving it down to form the trunk. He completed the build the same year, showing it at the 1956 National Roadster Show. Bill advertised the car for sale on Craigslist in 2019.
Raymond Patricco's 1934 Ford Roadster of Irvington, New Jersey. Patricco didn't build the car, he supposedly bought it in the 1960 or the 1970s. He planned to restore it. That never happened, and it stayed in storage until he passed away in 2018. Rumor has the car was built in the 1950s. Back then it is believed to have run a DuVall Windshield. The car was sold through Craigslist in September of 2019.
Bob Knessel's Sports Custom of Bell, California. Featuring a Fiberglass body, Bob and his dad spent three years constructing the car. According to an appearance in Fawcett Book 413 How to Build and Race Hot Rods, Ed Roth was involved in the build, and rumors has it that he gave it a Metallic pink paint job once the bodywork was done. In January of 2020 the car was advertised for sale at Craigslist. At the time it was located in Santa Monica, California.
