So-Cal Speed Shop was a speed shop started and operated by Alex Xydias. Alex Xydias was an early advertiser in Hot Rod Magazine. In 1948, So-Cal Speed Shop was located at 1104 S. Victory Blvd in Burbank, California. Amongst the inventory, you could find speed equipment manufactured by Edelbrock, Evans, Harman & Collins, Jahns, Meyers, Navarro, Offenhauser, Weber, Weiand and Winfield.
