Bill Shelley's 1957 Chevrolet Corvette of Oakland, California. Named "Bali Hi," the car was restyled by Bill and Bob McNulty. The build was completed in 1960.
Bob Webster's 1957 Chevrolet of San Bernardino, California. Bob was a member of the San Bernardino Krankers car club, and his car was known as "El Tigere". It was restyled circa 1957-1958.
Dan Contreras' 1957 Chevrolet of Norwalk, California. Restyled in 1963, Dan's Chevrolet featured Copper plated spotlights, wheels and side pipes.
Dick King's 1957 Chevrolet Four-Door Hardtop of Norwalk, California. Dick was a member of the Seagrams of Norwalk car club, and his car was restyled around 1958 - 1959. Once completed, the car was shown as Kings Royalty.
Jim Avery's 1957 Chevrolet Corvette of Waterbury, Connecticut, as it appeared in 1960.
Josie Celeste's 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air of Oakland, California. Named "Angel Lust," the panel painted version of Josie's Chevrolet was completed in 2016.
Rich Pichette's 1957 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery of Moreno Valley, California. The car was restyled by Bill Hines and Gary Minor after a rear end accident in 1992. The build was completed in 1998, featuring scallops designed by Jerry Weesner and pinstriping by Larry Watson.
Von Hunter's 1957 Chevrolet Corvette of Portland, Oregon. This was Von's personal car. Built from a crashed car, the build was completed sometime around 1967.
Teddy Zgrzemski' 1957 Chevrolet Nomad of Rockwood, Michigan. Teddy bought the Nomad from his friend Gene Rosco back in 1964 or 1965. It came from California, and it featured a beautiful Eddie Martinez interior. Shortly after buying the Nomad, Teddy's uncle, Bill Hines, helped install hydraulic lifts on the car, turning it into what might be the first hydraulic lifted car in Michigan.

In 1957 Chevrolet introduced more modern and sporty cars. With bigger tail fins. The 1957 Chevrolet did also feature an oval shaped front bumper grille with "bomb-type" bumper guards. The horizontal bar with small parking lights inserted in front of the cross-hatched grille. The headlights had grilles around them. The rear fender were shaped into the wide flat tail fins. The gas filler was inserted into the chrome molding at the left fin.

Special 150 models had almoust the same trim as the 1956 Chevrolet. But Deluxe 210 models featured double side molding on the on the sides with a painted contrast panel.


All V8 models, except the standard three speed manual transmission, was powered by the new 283 cid V8 engine that offered up to 283 hp in ramjet fuel injection format.

The 1957 Chevrolet production model-year was 1,522,536 units.
